Get into the topic: The Agentic Landscape Series

We broke down five core building blocks of Agentic Commerce into a blog series. Short, concise and actionable.

The Agentic Workshop: Think before you build.

Before K5 opened its doors, we ran our own workshop.

Solution providers and implementors. One room. One question: how do brands actually build autonomous systems?

Together, we worked through the four building blocks of the Agentic Commerce Landscape:

The outcome: a clear picture of what is already possible today. And where the biggest opportunities are.

The Guided Tour: Agentic Commerce, live.

Our founder Philipp Derksen guided an audience through the Agentic Commerce stack on the K5 main floor.

Five partners. Five perspectives. One thread. Here is how the tour came together:

neocom: focuses on the Agentic Storefront: the owned channel layer, covering corporate and brand interfaces where AI meets the customer directly.

eology: works on visibility and discoverability across AI platforms. Their focus: making sure brands show up where autonomous agents are already searching.

Stripe & commercetools: Two stops, one theme. Both provide critical infrastructure for Agent-to-Agent communication and transaction. With their strong roots in the US market, they bring a uniquely global perspective. And both are already positioned as end-to-end partners for Agentic Commerce.

druid AI: is our representative for the AI Worker layer. druid AI builds autonomous agents that operate within enterprise environments handling complex tasks without human intervention.

valantic: as bonus stop to closed the tour as valantic announced their partnership with Anthropic just last week. A strong signal that enterprise-grade agentic infrastructure is becoming real, fast.

The common denominator across all five: without a strong Commerce Context Layer, agents cannot perform.

Generic AI has no brand knowledge. No product rules. No memory. The Context Layer closes that gap.

The Context Layer. The Agentic Commerce Landscape.

Agentic Commerce only works with a strong data foundation. The Commerce Context Layer gives AI agents exactly what they need: product meaning, brand rules, conversational memory.

The Agentic Commerce Landscape shows how it all fits together. Five building blocks. One working system.

The companies building their Context Layer today will win the competition tomorrow.
